Hi, I’m Lucy.

I’m a writer and communications strategist who leverages my skills in storytelling, messaging, and multimedia communications to create solidarity and knit together communities. With experience in digital and external communications at nonprofits, foundations, and in the labor movement, I’m a believer in the power of great communications to galvanize movements and inspire change.

Whether I’m working on arts and culture issues, labor advocacy, or housing, I’m a problem-solver who thrives on building relationships with my colleagues and the communities we serve. My background as a theatre artist, creative writer, and photographer means I see the big picture of communications campaigns; I’m always thinking about audience impact, making strong choices, and how all the pieces fit together to tell stories that activate audiences.

I earned a B.A. in English and Drama from Ithaca College. Outside of work, I can be found exploring the streets of New York with my camera, seeing or making theatre, reading (ask me for a book rec), and lifting heavy things at the gym.
